Animal lover, turned veterinarian, turned jewelry designer, Vanessa Wensing brings a deep passion and respect for animals to her jewelry designs. She believes that animal themed jewelry can also offer high fashion and high quality. She draws inspiration from the animals that have touched her life, her patients and their owners. Her creations are truly unique and beautiful representations of the human-animal bond.
Dr. Wensing graduated from the Colorado State University
College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Along with designing her jewelry, she currently practices
veterinary medicine in the San Francisco area, and serves
on the board of the local veterinary medical association. |

| Ashley is more than the company’s
namesake – she is the cat that helped inspire the
concept. She currently serves as the beloved companion
of the designer. Each collection is named after
an animal that has touched the designer’s life (hence
the name Ashley and Company). |
